Still Alive...

Hiya!

I know what your all thinking...where have I been? Okay so your probably not thinking that...but I'll tell you anyway... I've been holed up in Steacie studying...luckily my last exam is on the 22nd...so I took yesterday and today off to recalibrate...sounds a little geeky but it's the truth...especially coming from me. I'm usually telling my parents that my hard drive is too full to remember any more things...and their response is well delete the music you have stored...yea like that's going to happen...hehehehe...

Anyway, I have been thinking about 'If Only Tonight'...in fact I've been thinking about it a lot. It's been on my mind constantly and even when I don't want to be thinking about it...things keep popping up. Sometimes I wish I could hook a computer up to my brain and feed all of my ideas on to a Word Document...life would be so much easier! I've almost completed twelve chapters...over 100 pages...but I still feel like there's more to be written in those chapters. To tell you the truth...this isn't going to be like the other two pieces I've written. I think it'll be a little darker and I really want to make the characters go through something different.

With the other two; the story line was fairly simple and easy to write...at least most of it was. Vows are never easy to write! I've already done the popstar falls for the footballer, and the high schooler falls for the best friend of her older brother...typical love stories, I suppose. But I really want this to be something different...something that stands out...already the difference is that it's a lot harder to write...there's a lot of second, third, and fourth guessing going on. Oh and it's way longer...

There will be the usual things that you know only I would write about...take a guess, I'm sure having read my stories you have some idea what to expect. Music is always integral...You already know Mia is Canadian...then there's Muskoka...how big a role that will play? You'll see. As of yet, I'm not sure when I'll start posting. I'm not far enough to be comfortable letting anyone else read it. I'm really nervous about it but at the same time it's exciting.

On a lighter note...I stayed up all night reading a book called 'Love You Hate You Miss You'...the second novel I've read in a whole year. The first being 'Hush Hush'...that one was awesome! So was this recent one! I can't wait for exams to be over...I've already planned to check out Chapters right after my Linear Algebra exam...it's motivating! That and the fact that school will be over before the World Cup... :D
